Serving the Region with Non-Hazardous Water Treatment

At Green Site Services (GSS), our civil construction and environmental remediation projects require a reliable plan for processing non-hazardous water. To optimize these operations while keeping costs down for our clients, we invested in a dedicated non-hazardous water and industrial wastewater facility. Located in Dover, New Hampshire, this facility provides a professional and efficient disposal destination for projects of all sizes.

Our Core Water Treatment Services

We specialize in handling a variety of non-hazardous water streams. Specifically, we ensure your project remains on schedule regardless of its location through these services:

  • Construction & Remediation Dewatering: This is our highest-volume service. We provide streamlined processing for groundwater generated during excavation.
  • Industrial & Commercial Maintenance: Additionally, we manage water from tank cleanings, equipment wash-downs, and grey water removal.
  • Investigation-Derived Water (IDW): We also provide compliant handling for smaller volumes, such as well purging.

Compliance for Industrial Wastewater Disposal

To maintain the integrity of our system, we focus strictly on non-hazardous water streams. We do not accept water containing measurable free product (pure chemicals or free-phase oil). This ensures 100% compliance for our clients.

High-Capacity Infrastructure

We understand that project timelines depend on disposal speed. Consequently, our facility is engineered to support large-scale regional projects:

  • Daily Processing: We can discharge up to 10,000 gallons per day.
  • Scalable Storage: In addition, we maintain permanent storage for 20,000 gallons, with the flexibility to scale up for site-specific needs.

The GSS Treatment Process

We utilize a multi-stage process to ensure every gallon of water meets strict environmental standards. To achieve this, we follow this process:

  1. Reception & Holding: We stage water in our holding tanks to manage flow.
  2. Residual Oil Removal: Next, the water passes through an oil/water separator to remove oil and grease.
  3. Solids Filtration: Specialized bag filters then strip out sediment.
  4. Organic Filtration: Granular activated carbon filters remove organic contaminants.
  5. Testing & Discharge: Finally, we stage treated water in a batch tank, analyze it on-site, and verify it against permit limits.

Utilizing Our Non-Hazardous Water and Industrial Wastewater Facility

If you are looking for a New England non-hazardous water and industrial wastewater facility, GSS makes the process simple. For instance:

  • Regional Reach: We handle bulk tankers and containerized volumes from any job site.
  • Streamlined Approval: Our standard Waste Profile process ensures compliance before the first truck arrives.
  • Appointment-Based Offloading: As a result, we schedule offloading appointments, so your drivers spend less time waiting.
